If you want a **tablet for everyday use** that handles streaming, notes, light photo work and video calls without fuss, the 11-inch iPad (A16) is the obvious place to start. It’s the standard iPad with enough power and storage to cover most people, without pushing you into iPad Air money. ## What makes it worth it The A16 chip is the real upgrade here: reviewers at TechRadar and Tech Advisor describe it as genuinely quick for opening apps, multitasking and general iPadOS use, even if it is not a huge leap over the previous base model. Apple also gives you 128GB starting storage, which is far less stingy than older entry-level iPads and makes the base model much easier to live with. The 11-inch Liquid Retina display is a good size for reading, streaming and split-screen work, and the 12MP front camera with Center Stage is useful if you spend time on FaceTime or work calls. ## Where it falls short This is still the plain iPad, so you do not get Apple Intelligence support, and the display is not in the same league as the iPad Air or iPad Pro.
